For there house they need like two or three places to hide because they arevery shy. A 5 gallon tank would be good for a small one other wise 20-30 gallon tank will work they like to get out so yu need a lid or a lock to make sure they cant get out. The milksnake needs a water bowl big enough so it can get in and out of it. The water needs changed once a week if not more.
